What Is Astrology?
Astrology is a highly complex and mathematical science of charting the placement of the stars in the heavens according to the time of birth of any individual or event. The orientation of the stars and planets in relation to each other have very individual meaning to each person burn under their influence.
Astrology was the precursor to modern Astronomy and it was a science practiced by educated and learned men of their day in ancient times.
The discipline is based on the premise that we all are derived from the same source which created the universe. As a result , the Ancients believed that te patterns in the heavens were a part of us, and therefore the gravitational pull of their movements also directly affected our subtle and electromagnetic bodies via the invisible ethers.
AS ABOVE SO BELOW, was the axiom commonly used. The ancients believed in the macrocosm, (the universe) and the microcosm (the universe in miniature, inside of man). Therefore they reasoned, anything that happened in the heavens above also happened in the world below.
Astrology is not fatalisitic. The horoscope or "map of the life" gives ONLY LATENT TENDENCIES which lie dormant in the spiritual, physical and psychological being of the individual. Left to their own devices, these tendencies will usually manifest. however it is important to realize that we must always take control of our stars and never let them control us. This means that we are shown latent weaknesses or issues in our makeup so that we may actively do something to improve upon them. The horoscope will show strengths and weaknesses of character. It is as if we were given a lump of clay and God said "Here is the raw material, now make something of it. Improve on it. Or sit there and do nothing with your potential, it's your choice".
Like anyo ther healing modality, astrology is one took among many for understanding the different ways in which we perceive reality. We may be challenged to change our perceptions or reality in order to create a new one. This is the process of evolution. In effect, our reason for being.

Synastry compatibility readings involving two horoscopes: $60.00 verbal consultations/ $90.00 written
For the experienced ceremonial Hermetic occultist who may have use for it, I offer an added service of diagramming or listing any qabbalistic or alchemical or shemhamphorasch references to the astrological quinances that may pertain to the individual horoscope which may be relevant to path working or other experimentation. I reserve the right to refuse this service to any occultists I choose not to work with for any reason. This is a selective service only and must be requested specifically.
My written charts are time consuming since they are NOT generic computer generated readings, and depending on how many people want them, you may be placed on a waiting list until yours can be completed. Orders will be filled in the order they are received. Allow two to three weeks for completion of a written horoscope WITHOUT a waiting list. If you are ordering written readings for Christmas gifts, or other major holiday occasions, to ensure that you get them on time, please put in your request well in advance (possibly two months or earlier in the year as possible) so I can guarantee them on time.
