ASTROLOGY REPORTS
An update on a few items.... the intended astrology reports have actually
been pushed back for a time. They are still in the wings and I promise they will be here someday.
ONLINE SHOPPING
The
online shopping experience continues to be somewhat of a web site maintanance challenge. I have yet to find a financially efficient
shopping cart system at this time. So here is what I've done.
All of my handmade items will be redirected to
my Etsy Store. If you look on the menu you will see a link for the Etsy store on the left hand menu column. These items
include: Candles, Beadwork, Botanacles and anything that is hand-crafted by Persephone's Place. Your shopping experience
on Etsy is secured and it's just a convenient way for me to do business at this time without worrying about store integration into
the website.
As for non handmade or commercial items, they are available here but not in a shopping cart. You'll notice
I've added a page on the main menu for the bookstore as an example. The system for those items will consist of you needing
to email me at PersephoneRC@aol.com and telling me which items you want. I will then email you a paypal invoice which is just
as easy and efficient as a shopping cart assuming you have a paypal account. If you do not have a paypal account, no worries,
you can send me a check or money order the old fashion way in the mail. Just contact me for details and I'll work with you.
When you email me about a purchase please be sure to put "website purchase" in the subject heading. I check my spam folder
every day so in the event your email gets sent there for some reason, chances are I'll find it very quickly.
ASK AUNTY WITCH
METAPHYSICAL ADVICE COLUMN
Check out the advice column, it's a new addition to the website. You'll find
it featured here on the home page.
LIBRARY ARCHIVES
Also new additions include three article files into the library
archives for your reading enjoyment. More will be coming with time.
BEADWORK GALLERY
The beadwork gallery has had
a major renovation as has the overall look of the website in general. You'll find new photos listed in the gallery. I
think everyone may like the new improvements made overall. The site looks a little more streamlined this way.
BOOKSTORE
As
already mentioned the bookstore has been added to the site.
MOON PHASE COMPONENT
I decided to place a lunar phase graphic
on the site. Anyone with an active metaphysical background will appreciate a convenient look at what moon phase the moon is
in. If you are not sure and need to know, and don't have an ephemeris, just get online and come to my web site and take a peek
at the home page.
I hope you enjoy the new additions and changes. Please look forward to more additions
at the next major update at the Autumn Equinox.

"Ask Aunty Witch" is a sort of metaphysical advice column.
The concept of "aunty witch" had a rather humourous start.
My former roomate and long time Wiccan friend coined me aunty witch on behalf of her dog one day as I sat minding my own business
at the kitchen table. Bridgit the dog came and sat next to me, wagging her tail and looking intently at my plate. My friend
said (speaking for the dog), "I love you aunty witch... can I have your steak?" From that day on the nickname just caught
on. So I've taken the idea to a whole new level and decided to start a column and make some practical use of my nick-name.
I
get a lot of questions about Wicca and many other topics from some of my clients and students.
Are you a parent concerned
about your childrens participation in Wicca? Do you have questions or concerns about something you have experienced? Are
you unsure about a workshop, group or teacher you are considering participating in ritual with? Do you have questions about
right or left hand path magic? Do you have technical or ethical questions about rituals you might be doing or planning do?
Nothing is off limits.
The only rules are you must be respectful or I will not give you the time of day. Flamers
are not welcome.
